Nessa is eighteen-years-old and can take care of herself, but she finds herself placed into a special Cat Shifter School where she will be kept safe. She quickly learns that despite the chaste kisses and lingering touches, the people at the School are all Werewolves and are much more than they appear to be. They're all just waiting for the right time to pounce and do what they want with her.

"None of that, darling," he says, his tone not matching the soothing words. He is clearly upset that she isn't cooperating, his voice dropping to a low growl. "Come here, darling. Good girls don't hit. If you don't behave, I'm going to put you over my knee and spank you."
Tears fill her eyes at the thought of being punished and she starts to cry. She tries her best to be good, but everything's still so new and frightening and she doesn't mean to be difficult. She cries and struggles to free herself from the tangle of her sheets. "No, no," she kicks out, but he's holding her so firmly, his strength vastly superior.
"Oh, baby. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, darling. I didn't mean to frighten you," he apologizes hastily, pulling her up and into his arms.
She doesn't want anything to do with him.
"No, no," she sobs, wriggling and trying her best to free herself.
"What did you do, John?" Doctor Liam scolds from the doorway.
"Gave her a little scare," he admits sheepishly. "She didn't want to get up for breakfast."
Doctor Liam sighs. "We agreed to give her some time to get used to things around here. I gave her permission to sleep in, seeing as it's Sunday and she has been very well behaved considering how she's never been here before."
She feels John nodding against the top of her head. "I know, I know. I was an asshole and I got impatient," he says. "I'm sorry, Kitten. I didn't mean to scare you," he hums.
She shakes her head and presses her palms to his chest, pushing to get free. He smells nice and he sounds like he's being sincere, but she doesn't know him and she doesn't want him holding her.
"Aren't you hungry?" he asks.
Her stomach is feeling a little bit empty.
"Mark says you really like peach pancakes. I got you some," he offers.
She stops struggling and sniffs the air, eyes darting around the room in search of the food.
He is practically purring now. "Do you want some?"
She nods and somewhere by the door, she hears Doctor Liam laughing. She's content ignoring him for now. Food always takes precedence in her opinion.
